TurfEx ® walk-behind spreaders provide the ultimate in quality and are excellent for the daily use of landscaping professionals or golf course groundskeepers. Ideal for spreading grass seed, pesticides, fertilizers and pelletized lime. Includes a durable, 3/16"-thick polyethylene hopper. 13"-dia. tires on rustproof, composite rims have heavy-duty transmissions and wheel bearings for long life and durability. A contoured-grip handle keeps your hands comfortable during long jobs. Features a 10- to 12-ft. maximum spread width, a manual flow gate with spring-loaded gate control and ground-drive speed control. Large, heavy-duty gears are made from Nylatron ® GS, which provides superior wear and impact strength. Preset with a 2.5-mph impeller speed to match a normal walking pace. TurfEx's electric-powered spreaders are lightweight, versatile and highly effective. Use the TS series to precisely spread seed, fertilizer and pelletized materials. Or go with the larger MS series to also handle bulk materials, such as topdressing sand and seed starter mulch. All models feature TurfEx’s electric drive, so no matter which one you choose, you can reduce fuel costs, as well as your impact on the environment.
TurfEx's PTO spreader are powered from the power takeoff (PTO) of your tractor to spread seed and fertilizers in landscaping, orchard and athletics field applications. The 29"Lx35"Wx26"H mounts to your tractor’s Category-0 or 1 three-point hitch and holds up to 7-cu. ft. of material. Spreads up to a 30-ft. width and features a powder-coated frame, 12"-dia. stainless steel spinner, 10-ft. cable to open the flow gate and a weather-resistant, variable speed controller. Includes driveshaft for PTO operation and a hopper cover with clear window.
Designed to mount on tractors, utility vehicles or pickup trucks, the units are equipped with an auger for feed and control of bulk material, including fertilizer, compost, pelletized lime, topdressing, snow and ice removal products, and other granular products. The hoppers features thick-walled construction of heavy-duty polyethylene, but the unit is still up to 40 percent lighter than similar capacity steel-built options.
TurfEx’s push sprayers are completely electric-powered. A 12-volt pump provides flow to the adjustable spray wand and the front-mounted, adjustable-height boomless nozzle, which can spray up to 48 inches wide.
TurfEx offers three models of skid-mounted sprayers, which can be be mounted in the bed of utility vehicles, pickup trucks and more. And with the 50-foot hose on a 100-foot capacity reel, the operator has ample room to move around, performing spot spraying applications. TurfEx offers a full line of attachments to maximize the productivity of zero-turn mowers. They feature lightweight, non-corrosive polyethylene construction, and all powered attachments use electric drives and controls, which run off the mower’s battery. Also, the ground-engaging attachments use a patent-pending hitch that articulates to accommodate ground contours. Furthermore, every attachment utilizes a universal mounting system that easily fits on most makes of zero-turn mowers.
